New site? Maybe some day.

It is the end of summer, and soon the leaves will change color, our clothes will become thicker, and our beards will once again grow to mighty lengths. And with this change of season, it is time to usher in a change of our own. I am pleased to announce the newest addition to Boston, MA Heisai Yasokawa's EMPTY ORCHESTRA (ex-The Taste of Silver, ex-PS), Mad Mike (ex-Weapons Grade), on the drums. Mike is a versatile musician with knowledge of the cello, violin, and guitar in conjunction with his percussive skills. Mike is a fantastic addition to the band, and brings with him an energy and humor this band accepts with open arms. We will begin playing shows again immediately (Mike has already learned most of the songs) and are working on a new demo that will feature him and new bass player Chris Fittante.

Well, he kinda asked after the fact... though granted he didn't know there was the fact.

Agreed. I'm gonna try booking some shows(again) at the 119 Gallery since I realized the fact that it wasn't the venue that fucked me, but the regular "booker".
I'll definitely put on some Orchestra Smasher shows. |
