haha yeah Varg is very douchey. he has a douchey speaking voice too. listen to Burzum and watch a video of Varg talking, i can't believe its the same person making those inhuman vocal sounds.
Filosofem is awesome, but its the album i like the vocals the least on. he used a headset microphone to get that weird staticy sound. i love how ridiculous he sounds like on "War". but when he is freaking out and screaming on Hvis Lyset Tar Oss it sounds so maniacal. Det Som Engang Var for the win.
awesome little doc about Gorgoroth centered around interviews with Gaahl at his home in Norway
for the most part that documentary was great, but when one of the crew members was bitching the whole time they were hiking up the mountain so that Ghaal could show them his grandfather's shack. he was going to interview Ghaal and stay at his house, he should have known what he was getting into. good documentary, obviously made for a painfully mainstream audience
