New site? Maybe some day.

This is actually pretty simple. I'm staying with some close family friends and just acquired a desktop computer. I dont want to make them run me a DSL line up to the attic, so I need a wireless card. I looked up prices for them and they're relatively cheap.
Is this a good investment? Also, if I get one is it easy to install, or should i have someone who knows more about computers do it? |
all these white dudes on here and no one's got an answer fo' a nigga? |
Computers are a blue collar thing. I'm a rock guitarist's rectum. |
They're easy to install, just goes into a pci/pci-e slot and it should have instructions for installing the drivers.
Or maybe a USB one |
i didnt know they made USB ones...i'll look a little deeper |
you can get a usb wifi dongle. |

Not to ask the butt-stupid obvious question, but they do have a wireless router right?
Then get a card or a dongle; they're both easy to install. In a desktop, you just need to turn the thing off, pop the case, ground yourself, put the card in and tighten the screw on it.
