THANK FUCK. I've been brewing a prizewinner for about threefour days now; the night before last I got super stoned and ate everything in the house followed by a big bowl of oatmeal, and then a can of tamales last night. All yesterday and this morning, nothing. Anxiously awaiting losing 7 pounds in one go (and dreading at what point in tonight's festivities the impending fecal firestorm would makes itself known), I prepared the hippie speedball (bud + espresso) this morning, adding in a couple drags on a butt (which I don't, as a rule, smoke), and finally 2 hours later it looks like we're in business. I've a rumblin' in the root cellar. More on this story as it develops.
