What's wrong with it? There's a special on sitvoffer.com offering this game and a 6 month subscription to SI for $49. I was going to get it but not if it's not worth it.

they just made a big deal about tackling more and slowing it down for bigger hits, which to me takes away from game play and idk it just seems a lot slower. i mean if youre getting it in a package deal like that go for it but i just bought the game and im just not happy with it.

Yeah, I played the demo and wasn't all that impressed. They're running out of ways to "improve" the game and it shows. The animations are a lot smoother and realistic though. Definitely not bothering to buy this--I'll stick with 09.

see this is my point you dont need to improve anything, just put out the new game with the updated line ups and new stadiums if any and enjoy.

i don't normally condone new age technology, but 360 is indeed awesome. just for COD 4 and 5 alone. Fable 2 is awesome until you get towards the end, it loses steam when you've reached mega status with your character but you pretty much spend all of your time killing beetles or chopping wood.

I did this because I know I'm getting a 360 eventually and the deal is cheaper than buying Madden 10 brand new in the store on its own

....that said I'm still playing Madden 07 on my regular XBox and will be until I get a 360 lol

I love 360 as well, but I don't consider that stuff video games anymore.
They're trying to emulate reality more and more as each year passes. With the better engines coming out each year, we're going to have video (virtual) realities soon.

The real video game era died out around 2000-2001. The newage of video gaming is only going to result in virtual realities, which to me, doesn't justify it as a "game" per se, but rather an emulated reality for entertainment purposes.

That's why 8 and 16 bit systems will always dominate as the true "video games" and not emulated realities. I like using my imagination, not being sucked into someone else's.

I totally understand Arillius' point of view and agree. 16-32 bit is where that feel ended. With these new games it's just fucking crazy. You immerse yourself so much more and feel like you are a part of it. Strange I know, but fucking fun as hell.

Multiplayer I just can't get into. Sometimes GTA4 or Gears 2 can be fun online, but I love playing the GAME and not some tool bag who will destroy me in two seconds because thats all they do all fucking day.

Especially when that tool bag a prepubescent British ass clown.

I really enjoy multiplayer, but I totally hear you. When I first started playing Call of Duty (both 4 and WaW) I just died over and over and over again. It gets stupidly frustrating, but it's still fun to me. Co-op stuff like Nazi Zombies in COD: WaW or L4D is really fun as long as you're not playing with a bunch of mic-less douchenozzles.

QFT. Thats what I would play in Gears 2, the "Horde" mode where you and a team just kill shit in waves over and over. It's just insanely addictive like the nazi zombie thing in COD:WaW.

Thats why I want to pick up Left 4 dead. Looks like alot fun online.
