Thanks to a certain metal news website, speculation about the venue for MDF 2010 is circulating because they've written that the festival will take place at an "as-yet-undisclosed venue". This is not true. MDF 2010 has been confirmed t...o take place at Sonar since the end of the last one.

I stayed at an inexpensive hostel that was like a 5 minute walk from Sonar last year. Lots of Euros and their old school bedbugs. Free pancake breakfast, too.

Befriend drunk headbangers at hotels. Party. Pass out in in random place. Wake up confused. Pay nothing.

mark, the tremont is reasonable, and close to sonar. 3 of us paid $600 total for 4 nights and split it.

That is definitely a steal; I can't remember what hotel we stayed at last year but it was an additional 5-10 minutes away from Sonar and was probably in the same price range.

I usually have my hotel by this time. It is usually around $300 for 2 night(friday/saturday), but this year, I'm going to go for the pre-fest so I need thursday/friday/caturday)
