My dipshit friend just traded me T.O. AND the Ravens Defense for the Vikings defense.

What a fool.

[End story.]

Well. The Vikings do face the Lions twice. And Owens didn't see much action last night. Still the Vikings don't create enough turnovers to warrant the kind of point output that would justify this trade.

I spent a good 20 minutes looking it over. I kept thinking, "this trade is so moronic there MUST be a catch that I'm missing."

No catch. Just a bad move.

if i didn't make stupid trades last year, i would've won my league. i panicked on MJD's slow start and welker losing brady, so i traded them for Braylon Edwards and Jonathan stewart. i figured edwards was just in a little slump to start the year and that stewart would overtake d'angelo williams. once i had stewart, i dropped williams.

I tried to make up for it by making a couple trades involving me sending the guy who always finishes near the bottom brett favre, tim hightower, and a couple other players for roddy white, calvin johnson, and reggie bush, and i ended up finishing in first place, but then lost in the playoffs.

had i not made any trades, my team would've been brees, chris johnson, ladainian tomlinson, dangelo williams, maurice jones-drew, wes welker, dwayne bowe, kevin walter, matt ryan, john carlson, derrick ward, baltimore d, and a few others.

i would've won it all but instead, i was trade-happy and blew it.

I literally gasped at both that trade and the subsequent dropping of DeAngelo Williams and the team you would've had if you didn't do anything....holy fuck

I was offered Derrick Ward and Jeremy Maclin for Steven Jackson and then Johnathan Stewart and Pierre Thomas for Steven Jackson.

Apparently I come off as a moron to some people.

i'm always a contender in my league, but my trades were remarkably stupid last year. my team would've been ridiculous. my team the year before had brady and moss during their record breaking year and tomlinson when he was still the best, plus a whole slew of depth at all positions. had a monsoon not taken place during the pats-jets game during the fantasy playoffs, i'd have won the league that year.

i just pulled off a trade in my league that i think will work out well for me and the friend i traded with. I gave up tj housh, steve smith, and lavvy coles for andre johnson and lesean mccoy. i have westbrook, so mccoy gives me insurance if westy gets hurt. we're a ppr league, so andre johnson is huge and was a player i wanted to draft in the first round. housh wil have a solid year and coles probably will too even though he looked like shit in the first game. steve smith is fucked as long as delhomo is throwing balls to other teams' defenders instead of smith.

I'm trying to pull off a deal now....my team is stacked except for my RB2 (which right now is Willie Parker)...I managed to claim Joe Flacco off the waiver wire even though I already have Rivers and Palmer because another team in my league has McNabb and Campbell as his QBs and more good RBs than he has starting spots for

Here's a gem that was just proposed to me.

I'd give up: Andre Johnson and Willis McGahee
I'd get: Marshawn Lynch and LaDainian Tomlinson

Hmmm, the league's top receiver and the lead back in a run first offense fooooor a guy who's still on suspension, and a guy who's already hurt. Yeah sure, I'm a moron, so why not.

my trade is working out nicely. Andre johnson was huge in week 2 and I have lesean mccoy in case brian westbrook's ankle keeps him out. the other guy already dropped lavvy coles, so the trade was pretty much steve smith and tj housh for andre johnson and lesean mccoy. now if only i could get him to trade me peterson.

i was offered this beauty yesterday:

I'd give up: Andre Johnson
I'd get: greg jennings and willie parker

Yes, I really want your washed up running back and a receiver with an injured wrist who didn't register a catch in week 2. i'd love to part ways with the guy who had 10 catches, over 140 yards, and 2 TDs in week 2.
