I ordered some shit from Omaha steaks and the shit is pretty good. Normally I would not order shit like that but I got a killer deal. It came with steak Burgers, top sirloin steaks, filet mignon, hot dogs, boneless pork chops, Stuffed Sole with Scallops and Crabmeat, and tater au gratin. I got all of it for $59.99. All of it was pretty good but the stuffed sole sucked. it had some little bones in it. Anyone else dig this shit? I will not order from them again unless they keep up the good deals like the one I got.

Those friggin boxes are such a pain in the ass.

Styrofoam+humidity+metal = total hassle.

Omaha steaks are totally worth it, however.

Never thought it was a deal but the food is good.

Demoulas has killer meats.

Pretty sure that they are the same people or very similar.

Down in Florida these dudes would come by work sites (I was a land surveyor) on every payday looking to push their steaks.

I've had Omaha steaks and ya if you get deals, they're worth it. Otherwise, stay away. The meat is of mediocre quality. If you like yourself some meat, go to a local butcher (or any place with a meat counter) and ask for a huge un-trimmed chuck roast. Cut steaks from that or roast the whole thing. Delicious, srsly.

Oh and chuck is the first or second cheapest cut but also the most flavorful if prepared correctly.

I'll stick with my local butcher shop.

If you really like your meat, go in on a quarter or half cow. 200-400 dollars later and you've got yourself anywhere between 150 and 500 pounds of quality meat. Did that recently and I have 100lbs of meat left to eat.
