We are unable to confirm that we can do this show. We are concerned with the amount of violence and/or drugs it will bring. Please reconsider your options. Thank you.
i had a dream about this show last night. it was moved to Ralph's and a massive earthquake hit just before they played. it leveled a parking garage that Ralph's had, but no one left the show. a Beatles tribute played after them.

did it leave the parking lot of Ralphs with a shit load of pot holes in it? if so, it wasnt a dream
Holy crap, i just realized that this show is scheduled for AFTER the rapture... i hope the earthquakes don't happen until AFTER "DS"... at which point, bring on the fucking demons beotch!

can we reschedule the rapture for after the show? if I miss Defeated because of this i'm totally kicking God's ass.
man, i am so thankful my fucking boss is a brown noser and refused to take a day off while sick and infected the whole floor, just so i could be nice and congested for this.
For those who need to know:
There will be a full backline of guitar/bass cabinets from Dysentery & Composted. No one is to bring any additional cabinets. Everyone is welcome to use my guitar/bass heads as well, the less equipment the better.
It would be FANTASTIC if everyone would try their best to not damage the walls, things on the walls, or... well, anything else really. Obviously you can't tell people not to get a little rowdy when these types of bands play, that wouldn't be any fun. But this place has the potential to be the site of some awesome future shows, we just need to respect the space. Please?
I was thrilled with how well this went. Everyone was respectful, the bands were unbelievable, and even the people i had to turn away at the door were nice to me. (although i fucking HATE not letting people in.) We fit 90 people in there! (19 band members and 71 others.) There's definitely going to be more shows in there, soon.
This show was fucking awesome. It's been a long ass time since I've played a show at any sort of DIY spot. Huge thanks to Blue and Jimbo, as well as all the people who made long treks out to this (including a few kids from fucking Quebec). Defeated Sanity fucking KILLED so hard. Nicest guys ever too.
does anyone have some videos to post? i know i saw at least one guy recording...

only getting manhandled by tony is real.
DS sounded so much better live than on their album if you can believe that. they played over an album's worth of material too. anyone in the NY/NJ area should definitely make the trek over to clifton tonight to catch these guys. scaphism ripped it up, the front row looked like an obituary video. composted played a lot of their deeper cuts which have some of my favorite parts and their new "hardcore" song which is also awesome. i have no idead how mark played that entire set in a hoodie, haha.

dude, he LIVES in a hoodie. (That's why i think he's really from the planet "DUNE" and his sweatshirts are all "still-suits" in disguise.)
the cool thing about this show was that if Defeated Sanity wasn't playing, this would still be a fuckin awesome show! Defeated Sanity just made it even more brutal!
Second, thank you to everyone that came out and rocked with us. This was by far not only the best show I've been a part of, but one of the best shows I have ever been to.
Thanks to Peter Blue for putting us on this (snoochies), Jimbo/Frank for the venue, and Defeated Sanity for absolutely blowing my fucking mind. That was the first time I witnessed something so brutal that all I could do was laugh and cry at the same time.

dont come close or this stick will go up your ass.
also i lost my calender book which has all my show dates and other important shit in it at this show. it says "Metal Til Death" on the cover. please let me know if you found it.
this turned out so much better than i thought it would. sucks that i had been battling a chest cold all week, but things seemed to turn out well for our set. hope to see more shows there, though the bowing floor was kind of unsettling. a big thanks to Blue for putting us on the show, hopefully Defeated Sanity was pleased with the lineup.
there definitely WILL be more shows there... and anyone who's interested in putting one on there should contact me, and we can make that happen.
Yeti- you guys fucking rocked.
