My guilty pleasure band is Silversun Pickups. I really like them, they remind me of Smashing Pumpkins, and I've ALWAYS had a hard on for Smashing Pumpkins, since the first time I heard them back in the early 90's.

Have you heard Autolux? Every time I play their album "Future Perfect" someone immediately compares them to Silversun Pickups...I don't necessarily get it, but I feel it deserves an obligatory mention.

I don't really do favorite songs, as I feel like putting together a record is more admirable than individual songs, but if I had to...

No, I have never heard of Autolux. I do not have cable, MTV, iPhones, radio, etc, I basically live in a fucking cave, so it's pretty hard sometimes to be exposed to new things.
