"FIREBIRD, the British band led by former CARCASS/NAPALM DEATH guitarist Bill Steer, will release their latest CD, "No. 3", in the U.S. on August 31 through SPV Records. An American tour is in the works to coincide with the release. The band plan to play dates across the East Coast in late September. More details as soon as they are confirmed.
As previously reported, FIREBIRD will enter the studio later in the summer to record their fourth album, tentatively due before the end of the year through Japan's JVC Records. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Needle In The Groove", "Flying Blind", "Play The Fool" and "Bread, Butter & Champagne". "
