Can anyone recommend an out of state band (maybe from NYC) to book for a Friday night in June at the Midway?

Borgo Pass is from NY and I know that they're looking to do some shows out of state, you could try them...

I also would definitely recommend Hessian from Maine, they're always up for traveling and they're a lot of fun to play with.

Not sure whether bands from CT, RI, or NH are sufficiently non-local for what you're seeking, or I'd list a bunch more, but those are the bands that come to mind off the top of my head. Are you looking for a specific sub-genre?

I'm not looking for a specific genre. I want to mix it up so the more interesting a band sounds the better. I feel a friday night at the Midway deserves something different for a Boston show.

Maybe Sapremia from New Jersey? They're a really good old school death metal band we played with at a Metal Thursday once.
