I thought it was pretty damned cool how alot of people from here went over to the baystate board and dropped eachothers names for that silly 13 band list. Regardless of what the douches over there think, the scene that this board alone has created is doing well and flourishing like a mother fucker. I seriously, seriously think we need to try to start a "fest" of some sort with as many of the bands from here as possible. Maybe even call it the "RTTP something something fest". I would be willing to put all the effort and whatever I have to help out with this. I think it's a great idea cause it will just show how tight this "scene" we have going really is you know? Am I wrong here? What do you all think??

aaron (the_reverend) does do this and although he didn't do it last year, i still did one on his birthday and EVERYONE on RTTP was invited. I have to say since then a lot of people have signed up and there is a closer knit community with more people which is awesome...

if you check in your profile...you will see "name tag" and if you click on it...it's a name tag of course but for aaron's bday surprise concert, we wore them..it was cool

I know, I missed that cause I had to do something with my daughter that day. We should do it again though and make this much bigger and get really crazy with the idea. Even if it's not named an RTTP event we can attach the name or endorse it with the name, etc... We just need to do something big, great, grand and just fuckin sick as hell.

I bet he puts Bane of Existence on the show to appease us, and then fills the rest with the gay nu-metal bands he always books.

If every band on this board makes even 20 flyers for an "rttp fest", that's at least 400 flyers across 5 states. Plus if each band brings 20 people that's at least 400 people.

another RTTP anniversary show at the Mub at UNH again will be perfect... plenty of room in there for a lot of heads.

I think for bands from MA, and especially RI and CT, bringing 20 people to NH will be rather difficult.
Get a place that can hold 2 stages and get 2 headliners.

This is a cool idea, although you'd have to find some kind of middle ground for a venue.

southern NH is probably the best bet

there is no better place than the MUB at unh... where the 6th annual fest was 2 years ago.

I'm working on getting that room.
